DEPUTY VENUE MANAGER (FOH)

Job Role: 17/EB/DVM

Responsible to: Venue Manager, Executive Producer, Technical Consultant

Responsible for: FOH Volunteers, Bar Staff, Safety Crew

Contract duration: 3 rd December – 2 nd February 2017 (excluding 10 days Christmas)

Conditions:

  • Management of front of house and box office staff / volunteers and organisation of rotas
  • Management of on-site processes and procedures Recruitment of staff / volunteers Liaising with external contractors, including security and first-aid to ensure the site is appropriately covered
  • Dealing with issues arising onsite, including customer complaints and site/venue related issues
  • Day to Day running of the bars Daily reporting to the Venue Manager Managing a group of up to 40 staff, and volunteers
  • Set up of the bars for the festival and close Staff and volunteer Training
  • Ensure all staff are happy and enthusiastic about work
  • Stock Control
  • Money handling
  • Diary Management
  • Ensuring Sponsors Requirements are met.
